Bankruptcy proceedings initiated in FSV Gosa again
The same decision was adopted on November 16, 2017, but was overruled by the Appellate Court due to procedural reasons at the complaint made by Radisa Savic, the legal representative of Gosa.
After representatives of the proposer and the bankruptcy supervisor made their statements, judge Zvezdana Karaklajic determined that Gosa is permanently unable to settle its immediate liabilities, based on which she made the decision on the opening of bankruptcy proceedings.
The bankruptcy proceedings were opened based on claims in the amount of EUR 410,838 which the Zemun-based company AA Capital Consulting bought out from Slovakia's ZOS Zvolen, a daughter-company of ZOS Trnava, former owner of Gosa, in 2017. The creditors' hearing, at which the creditors' claims are to be considered, has been scheduled for February 14, 2017.
As for Gosa employees, of which there use to be 327, they were laid off after November 16, following the adoption of the first decision on bankruptcy and were transferred to the National Employment Service with a monetary compensation and health insurance.
During the bankruptcy proceedings, they will be claiming an average of 20 salaries each, that is, 600,000 to 700,000 dinars per worker.
