Chinese investors interested in Cuprija – New industrial zone planned along with new factories

Chinese investors should open four plants in the existing industrial zone in Cuprija in early 2018, and the plan is also to build a new 400-ha industrial zone, the president of the municipality, Ninoslav Eric, said on Friday, December 29, 2017.

– The preparation of a detailed regulation plan of the area, for a commercial center, service center, golf course, amusement park, sports airport, is in progress – Eric told the press.

He said that Cuprija was supported by the Government of Serbia in the construction of the Chinese Industrial Park and that it also negotiated with “a renowned Turkish company”, which should lease the Dobricevo farm for the purpose of the fattening of young cattle.

He added that a new bridge on the Velika Morava was also to be built between Jagodina and Cuprija.

– The municipality will review the detailed regulation plan, and the Roads of Serbia will prepare the project and raise the bridge, whereas the old one, located at the entrance to Cuprija, will be turned into a footbridge as a tourist attraction – Eric said.
