Five companies interested in Valjevska Pivara – Privatization to take place in 2018

Five letters of interest were sent for the process of privatization of Valjevska Pivara until November 6, the Ministry of Economy of Serbia confirmed for eKapija.

Local media in Valjevo previously reported that Heineken was interested in Valjevska Pivara as well, but the Ministry of Economy couldn’t discuss the matter at the moment, since, as they remind, “the letters of interest are of a non-binding character and do not oblige the parties that sent them to take part in the process of privatization, and on the other hand, they don’t prevent persons that didn’t send letters of interest to take part in the process of privatization”. Valjevo media reported on alleged six letters of interest.

– The process of privatization of Valjevska Pivara is expected in 2018 – the Ministry says.
