The Government of Serbia reached the decision on the abolition of visas for the citizens of the Republic of Suriname at the session held on Thursday, December 28, 2017.

As announced on the website of the Government of Serbia, the decision is expected to lead to an increase in the number of visits and tourist arrivals, as well as potential investors, from Suriname to Serbia.

The decision enables the creation of a more favorable business environment and an all-encompassing enhancement of bilateral relations between the two states, it is said.
