Serbia placed 69th on the list of the best countries for business published by Forbes and covering 153 countries of the world.

In the region, Croatia, Montenegro and Macedonia placed ahead of Serbia, and Great Britain is the best country for business in the world in 2018, despite the uncertainties arising from Brexit.

The American magazine gauged 15 different segments for the development of business, including taxes, personal and economic freedoms, bureaucracy, property rights, innovation, corruption, technology, monetary and trade freedoms and protection of investors, but it did so based on the economic data from 2016.
