EUR 6 million invested in development of Beohemija – Sales revenues grow by 32% in six months

Beohemija has realized a growth of sales revenues by 32% since June 2017, and the results are down to an increase in the production of powdered and liquid cleaning products by 47%, the company said.

The company Preston bought the units Beohemija and Beohemija-Inhem in mid-2017, and all three companies merged into one, named Beohemija, in October, the company confirmed for our portal.

Following the acquisition, EUR 6 million was invested in development and modernization of production facilities, an expansion of the range of products, but also in human resources. This has led to a growth in both Serbia and the exporting markets, which comprise 55% of the total operations.

– In the upcoming period, the management will focus on continued investments in product quality, on increasing the sales and on conquering new markets in the region and the world. We are especially proud of the recent successes of our development service, and one of the main goals in the next year will be the launching of new products, that is, the expansion of the production portfolio – Maja Cecavac, Director General of Beohemija, stated and added that, following the acquisition, they had kept all the workers.

As the press release says, the annual capacity of Beohemija is 100,000 tons of powdered detergents and 55 million liters of liquid cleaning products.

The production portfolio of Beohemija consists of detergent brands Duel, Selection by Duel, Spin, Pompa and Scalla. For now, these products are exported to the markets of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, Armenia and Sweden, and expansions to new European and world markets are planned in the next period, the press release adds.
