Italian company "Fondiaria" announced bid for takeover of remaining 16.68% of stocks of insurance company DDOR from Novi Sad



Italian company "Fondiaria" announced the bid today (October 9, 2008) for takeover of remaining 16.68% of stocks of Novi Sad-based insurance company DDOR.
According to the web site of the Central Securities Registry, "Fondiaria SAI" will be buying stocks of DDOR at the price of 10,336 RSD, that is, at the price of minimum 124.88 EUR per stock, which is the price it paid for the majority package.
The bid will be opened prior to October 21.
Average pondered price of stocks of DDOR in the last three months amounted to 8,937 RSD per stock, while the price in trading on October 8 was 9,500 RSD per stock.
"Fondiaria" bought 83.3% of stocks of DDOR Novi Sad in November 2007 at the price of 220m EUR. That Italian company was the only bidder on the tender for sale of the package of stocks of DDOR.
