Serbia and Tunisia sign air traffic agreement
The agreement was signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tunisia Khemaies Jhinaoui on behalf of his country’s government. The minister is visiting Serbia in an official capacity and has discussed an enhancement of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of infrastructure and transport with Mihajlovic.
– The air traffic agreement is merely the first step in enhancing cooperation between these two friendly countries, which should also be developed in other fields, especially in the field of infrastructure, where Serbia has great experience and good construction companies – Mihajlovic said.
Jhinaoui said that Tunisia needed experts in the field of infrastructure in order to develop more quickly.
– We want Serbia and its companies to be more present and visible in Tunisia when it comes to infrastructural projects – he said and added that Tunisia wanted to further enhance the cooperation with Serbia in the field of tourism and trade and to utilize Serbia’s experience in improving the legislative framework in the field of transport.
As is the usual practice in meetings with officials, Deputy Prime Minister Mihajlovic gifted Jhinaoui a goldwork monogram, made by village women and meant to represent Serbia’s cultural heritage, as part of the joint initiative of the Coordination Body for Gender Equality, the NALED and the Ethnonetwork – Jobs for 1,000 Women in Rural Regions.
