Belgrade's airport Nikola Tesla is expecting that new concessionaire takes over management of the airport on August 1, 2018, ExYu Aviation News reports.

This date comes after several delays in the process of selecting concessionaire, so new deadline for filing applications for a binding offer for a concession for now is December

After that, public institution which assess bids will have an additional thirty days to make decision on the most favorable bidder.
Let us remind, Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic stated earlier that the agreement on the future concessionaire is expected in March 2018 , while Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said last week that he expects concession fee is to be about 500m EUR, double than the initial estimate.
The future concessionaire will be responsible for long-term development strategy of the airport, including management, maintenance, financing and capacity expansion.

Qualified bidders for concession management of Belgrade-based airport are Swiss-French consortium Zurich Airport with companies Eiffage and Meridiam Eastern Europe Investments, Indian-Greek consortium GMR Infrastructure limited and Terna, French Vinci Airports, South Korean- Turkish- Cyprus consortium Incheon international Airport corporation, Yatirimlari ve Islatme, VTB capital infrastructure and Chinese consortium HNA and China National Aero-Technology.
