The company Mozzart officially started operating in Africa last weekend. The opening of the first betting place of the company in Nairobi was attended by Ambassador of Serbia to Kenya Dragan Zupanjevac.

As Mozzart says, this Serbian company, one of the leaders in gambling games in Southeast Europe, with over 4,000 employees and 1,000 branches in the system, is present in the Balkans and the countries of the European Union, and, from now on, it will also be implementing its business model in the African market as well. The company has been active under its current brand since 2001.

At the official opening of the first Mozzart betting place in Nairobi, on the Ring Road Avenue, in the business district, Ambassador Zupanjevac pointed out that a Serbian private company starting a business in the country was an important moment for the cooperation between Serbia and Kenya in general.

Koviljka Loncar, General Manager of Mozzart, says that the company is very proud of expanding its network to another continent.

– We are especially glad to enter the market of Kenya and this is a big business challenge for our entire organization. Africa is a specific market, players have different habits than the clients we've had so far and we have studied all those specificities well and incorporated them in the company's standards. The people of Kenya are big sports fans and we have recognized an opportunity there for a successful marketing of our product and our services. We have started from Nairobi, but we are soon planning to expand to other big cities in Kenya as well – Mombasa, Eldoret, Kisumu and Nakuru. For now, we have 50 new colleagues in Kenya, and we plan to employ at least 1,000 – Loncar points out.
