Slovenia's Petrol earns EUR 60 million in three quarters of 2017 – Company's income EUR 3.3 billion

Slovenia's Petrol had revenues of EUR 3.3 billion in the first nine months of 2017, 23% more than in the corresponding period of 2016, and a profit of EUR 60.3 million, an increase of 5%, the Slovenian company reported.

The EBITDA of the petrol group amounted to EUR 122.5 million, an increase by 11% y/y, Seebiz reports.

Petrol made 63% of the profit from its core activity, sale of petroleum products, 20% from the sale of commercial goods in the stores at its gas stations, and the rest primarily from selling other energy sources, such as gas and electricity.


The revenues and the profit grew the most in the Slovenian market, although growth was also recorded in Croatia, B&H, Serbia and Montenegro.

The total revenues of Petrol Slovenia in the first nine months amounted to EUR 2.75 billion, an increase by 25.1% compared to 2016, whereas net profit grew by 27.1% to EUR 49.2 million.
