Visas for UAE for Serbian citizens expected to be abolished

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dacic had a bilateral meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the UAE Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan during the Sir Bani Yas Forum in Abu Dhabi, the competent Serbian ministry reported.

A high level of bilateral relations and cooperation was recognized by both sides and it was agreed for them to be further strengthened and enhanced. They also agreed on continued preparation for signing several bilateral agreements.

The minister of foreign affairs of the UAE said he was glad that the visas for the citizens of his country had been abolished by a decision by the Government of Serbia and underlined that the same would be done on their part in order for the visas for the UAE for the citizens of Serbia to be abolished as well.


The meeting concluded with the signing of the memorandum of understanding on founding a mixed committee for consular issues.

Minister Dacic invited Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan to visit Serbia in 2018, which he was extremely glad to accept, it is added.
