The Banjaluka-based company Integral has opened an asphalt base at Vladicin Han, close to Corridor 10. The equipment was produced by a Swiss company and features a fully integrated control system and an asphalt control laboratory.

– This is an ecological asphalt base. This means that all the material circulates and very little waste is produced. The waste is separated in special bags – says Mitar Vukovic, a mechanical engineer at Integral.

Integral has already had a concrete base in Vladicin Han. A total of 180 people work at the two bases. Once Corridor 10 is completed, 50 to 100 workers will remain in the company.

Integral performed a test run on Monday, October 23, 2017. During the first shift, they produced 700 tons of asphalt, which is enough to cover 500 meters of a highway. A total of 150,000 tons of concrete from their base has been used in Corridor 10.
