Aunde and Andrea Confezioni expanding production capacities in Jagodina – Karic to build apartments from March 2018?

Mayor of Jagodina Dragan Markovic Palma announced that several investors would arrive to the town the next year.

A delegation from Jagodina visited Minsk several days ago and saw that Bogoljub Karic had built several million square meters of residential and office space. He also decided to raise two buildings with 25 apartments each in Jagodina, close to its tourism center, as reported by Vecernje Novosti.

– The price of the square meter will be EUR 499, that is, EUR 200 cheaper on average than in the existing buildings. Those who buy a 60-m2 apartment will save EUR 12,000, and the town will greatly benefit as well, as it will charge for utility services. One of the buildings will feature a heliport. Karic told me that the buildings would also feature pools for tenants. We plan to start building them in March next year – Markovic stated.

According to him, the company Aunde, which employs 500 workers, will, for the third time, expand its capacities by another 2,000 square meters and employ another 250 people. The Andrea Confezioni plant will also expand its capacities and employ another 250 workers, so it will have 800 employees, whereas the construction of the German factory which is this company's supplier will begin in February next year. It will employ 150 workers.

Palma says that a Turkish factory is also interested in investing in Jagodina, but doesn't want to disclose the name of the factory before the foundation stone has been laid down.

At the ceremony on the occasion of the WW2 Liberation Day, Markovic announced the opening of an aircraft plan in Jagodina in early November.
