NBS did not allow sale of 10% of stocks of insurance company Takovo
- National Bank of Serbia (NBS) did not approve of sale of 10% of stocks of "Takovo Osiguranje" from Kragujevac - Governor of NBS, Radovan Jelašić, said today (September 2, 2008).
The press in Belgrade announced the information provided by Bulgarian media that certain insurance group from Bulgaria had taken over 10% of "Takovo Osiguranje".
Last year, "Takovo Osiguranje" announced the invitation for takeover of the majority package of stocks, but that tender has not been closed to the date.
That insurance company was founded in 1992 and it is majority owned by Dragan Jovović from Kragujevac. Its share in the insurance market in Serbia amounts to less than 10%.
