Rehabilitation of platform A completed at airport "Nikola Tesla"

Airport "Nikola Tesla" has announced that the rehabilitation of platform for reception of airplanes from the internal junction beneath the airplane bridges is finished. The works on this platform cost 44m RSD.

According to the announcement, the traffic capacities of platform "A" are now fully used because the airplanes can now also park on bridges A9 and A10, which were not used for reception and dispatching of aircrafts before.

Such works are carried out once in 5 to 10 years. People from the Belgrade Airport explained that the works enabled landing of 10 large airplanes at the same time.

Complete rehabilitation, which started on July 26, was ended one week earlier than it was planned, and the works had no influence on regular activities at the airport.

It is explained in the announcement that the project for rehabilitation of platform "A" and internal junction was included in the investment plan of Airport "Nikola Tesla" for year 2008.
