Birlesik Tekstil to open facility in Lazarevac in October – Negotiations with two investors about Petar Velebit also in progress
– The reconstruction of the old Beko factory is in progress for the purpose of initiating new production – Sindjelic said for our portal and added that it was the second foreign direct investment in the municipality, after the Stop Shop retail park, which opened on Thursday, September 14, 2017.
As Sindjelic said for eKapija, negotiations with two investors from Austria and Switzerland, interested in investing in the facility of the old textile factory Petar Velebit, are in progress.
– We expect these negotiations to be completed by the end of 2017 – Sindjelic explained for eKapija.
Let us remind that the Turkish company Birlesik Tekstil has bought the Beko factory in this suburban municipality and that it will, as announced earlier, employ 600 people in the first phase and another 600 in the second one.
