Ministry of Internal Affairs to get Huawei cameras and software
Stefanovic says that Meng and he discussed countering organized crime and terrorism, as well as how to utilize new, contemporary technologies in order to be as efficient as possible in their activities.
The minister says that the camera system will enable the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which has started cooperating with Huawei, to have a better traffic control and to prevent criminal acts more efficiently.
– The Ministry of Internal Affairs has started cooperating with Huawei through the strategic project Safe City, which will enable us to better control the traffic and counter organized crime and all other types of crime by using a better camera system and various pieces of software, as well as to be as efficient in discovering and preventing various criminal acts by using this advanced technology – Stefanovic specified after the meeting.
