JOKSIMOVIC: Opening of three economic chapters by the end of 2017
- Whether two intergovernmental conferences will be held in October and December or there will be only one in December, we will see, it depends on procedural matters – Joksimovic said.Minister specified she expects opening of Chapter 6 dealing with company law, which, she said, is important because of potential investors. Chapter 30 regulating economic relations with foreign countries, as well as Chapter 33, dealing with budgetary and financial provisions should be opened.- There is a set of economic chapters before us - Minister Joksimovic said.She also outlined importance of using funds from EU pre-accession funds, and as said, in 2017, there were EUR 200 m of grants available to Serbia, primarily for agriculture, water treatment, gas supply and the judiciary.She added that priorities for 2018 have still been in discussion and she will insist on prioritizing housing care to socially vulnerable categories, as well as employment of young people.
