According to preliminary results, Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport, increased business profit by 16% in the first seven months compared to the same period last year, Sasa Vlaisavljevic, acting manager of the airport said for Tanjug on Friday, August 25, 2017.

- According to my estimation, AD Nikola Tesla Airport Belgrade expects another record year and continues with excellent results in all business segments – Vlaisavljevic said, presenting the airport operations latest data.

According to preliminary results, in seven months, Belgrade airport increased its gross profit by nine percent.

Net profit in the first seven months totaled more than RSD 1.9 billion and is 12% higher than net profit in the same period last year.

- We also achieved total revenues eight percent higher than in the same period previous year, while operating revenues were higher than 10 %. Such results were achieved mostly due to increase in physical volume of air traffic and the number of passengers – Vlaisavljevic says for Tanug.

Apart from that, the biggest increase in operating revenues was caused by revenues from passenger services, revenues from services such as airplane delays, VIP lounges, service on a special request, etc., Vlaisavljević outlined.
