The Serbian Railways will use the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for a project of expanding and upgrading the Technical-Passenger Station Zemun. The project has been estimated at EUR 47 million, and the tender for the works is expected by the end of the current year.

The works entail the construction of all required structures, tracks, facilities, equipment and installations on the location of TPS Zemun, as well as the reconstruction and repair of the existing infrastructure and completion of works on the unfinished structures.

– Tendering for the above contract/s is expected to begin in Q3-Q4 2017. Tendering for this project will be conducted by e-procurement using the EBRD Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP). Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the EBRD will be open to firms from any country – says the EBRD notice.
