Following the penalty of EUR 100,000 for the consortium Azvi-Rubau, the Corridors of Serbia have issued a warning to companies working on another two sections of Corridor 10, Vecernje Novosti reports.

The newspaper reports that the Greek Aktor has been requested to fix the problems on the section from Prosek to Crvena Reka, whereas Azvi has been given another warning, due to the section from Grdelica to Caricina Dolina. If the mistakes are not fixed in a reasonable amount of time, the companies stand to be penalized.

Due to the works being late on Corridor 10, the investors, the Roads of Serbia and the Corridors of Serbia, have so far terminated the contracts with two unconscientious contractors – the Austrian Alpine and the Bulgarian Trace, Novosti reminds.

The Roads of Serbia have issued penalties worth around RSD 901 billion on their construction sites in the past 12 years. Last year, the Highway Institute, Srbija Autoput, Planum and Osijek-based Werkos were the subject of penalties.
