Privatization Agency has announced the invitation
today (July 11, 2008) for submission of letters of interest of the renowned manufacturers and refiners in strategic partnership related to privatization of Mining-Smelter Basin "Bor".
All interested potential strategic partners are to submit the letter of interest in partnership prior to September 30th.
All companies that deal with copper production and processing and that produced more than 80,000 tons of copper in concentrate and/or over 100,000 tons of cathode copper in the previous business year are free to submit the letter of interest and to visit the Agency's "data room" where the documentation about operations and property of Bor-based company is kept.
According to the invitation published on the web site of the Agency, the aim of the procedure is to attract strategic investors who are able to provide production and management know-how, investments in technology and environment protection, as well as access to local and export markets.
