Due to the general strike at the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Serbia factory in Kragujevac, the majority of Fiat’s subcontractors operating in the town have halted the production.

The workers in Magneti Marelli and PMC have been returned from their jobs and will be paid a compensation of 65% during the production halt. The workers at Adient, former Johnson Controls, and the company Automotive have reported that the production has been reduced in those companies as well.

The Fiat employees, which have been on strike since Tuesday, are asking for the base salary to be raised for RSD 38,000 to RSD 45,000, the production to be reorganized and the commuting expenses to be covered.
