Number of foreign tourists in Serbia grows by 20% - New models for promoting tourism business needed
He pointed this out in his talk with the Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization, Taleb Rifai. They talked about the tourism potentials and the promotion of Serbia as a tourism destination.
Vucic emphasized that it was necessary to find new models for promoting the tourism offer of Serbia and asked for help from the World Tourism Organization in creating a new tourist brand.
– Serbia will be working on creating an overall image of the country as a safe and attractive tourist destination in the upcoming period – Vucic concluded.
Rifai pointed out that tourism was Serbia's future, as reported by the president's PR service.
He emphasized that the entire world, not just the World Tourist Organization, was looking at Serbia with great attention and that the country needed to fulfill those expectations.
