President Marko Cadez will lead the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (SCC) in the
next mandate as well, the newly elected Assembly of SCC, which consists of 150
businessmen from all over Serbia decided on Thursday (June 22, 2017).
These are representatives of 16 regional and parliament chambers of the
capital, for the first time elected in an open democratic procedure in which
every businessman had the right to run, to elect and be elected.
As stated in the announcement of SCC, with the constitution of the Assembly and
the election of the Managing Board, the Supervisory Board, President and Vice-President
of the SCC, election procedure was completed in a unique chamber system
implemented in past almost four months,
which ensures that the voice of businessmen is heard at all levels of decision
making.
After the election for the president of SCC, Marko Cadez, in his statement to
Tanjug, especially emphasized the importance of new way of choosing the chamber
authorities, as well as new electoral model in the Serbian chamber system.
