Zastava oruzje signed an agreement on export of overall program of infantry weapons to the Middle East, worth USD 64 m. The contract includes automatic rifles, machine guns, machine guns, heavy machine guns, snipers, automatic grenade launchers, etc.

As the experts claim, it is the largest single export contract of Kragujevac arms-producing company in the last couple of decades, since the time of former Yugoslavia, when Zastava, in the context of the Yugoslav military industry, transferred technology for production of infantry weapons in Iraq, worth USD 100 m annually .

As Danas reports, it is assumed that weapons are intended for coalition forces in the Middle East which struggle against the Islamic state.
