Kosava wind park construction started at Vrsac - The first project stage totals EUR 124 m
Wind park Kosava is the largest investment so far in the field of renewable energy sources in our country. The first stage will comprise 20 wind turbines which will generate electricity for 40,000 households. This part of the project, which will be completed by the end of 2018, totals EUR 124 m, MK Fintel Wind announced.
Along with Kosava, MK Fintel Wind has already built wind parks Kula and La Piccolina.
The official opening of the construction was attended by
Aleksandar Antić, Minister of Mining and Energy, Tiziano Giovannetti, CEO of
Fintel Energia Spa and MK Fintel Wind, investors and numerous guests.
- After construction of 20 turbines, the second stage where will build additional 19 turbines have been in preparation and which will total EUR 100 m - Tiziano Giovannetti, Executive Manager at Fintel Energia Spa and MK Fintel Wind.
AIK bank supported financially Kosava project.
Apart from increasing total energy capacity in Banat, Vojvodina and Podunavlje, MK Fintel Wind is planning to invest in wind energy in Serbia an dregion, it was stated in the announcement.
