Free internet reaches Corridor 10 - In July, the first chargers for electric cars to be installed along highway

The first free Internet connection (wi-fi) on Corridor 10 was put into operation on Sunday, June 11, 2017, on the Jerina rest area, on the Belgrade-Nis highway, at the exclusion to Smederevo.According to the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, this is the first out of ten points on Corridor 10 in which all drivers will be able to use internet for free.

Free internet access will be available at four areas more on Corridor 10 - Šimanovci 1 and Šimanovci 2 (highway from the Croatian border to Belgrade, in both directions), Feketić 1 and Feketić 2 (highway from the Hungarian border to Belgrade, in both directions).

The first chargers for electric cars at the toll stations Sid, Presevo, Dimitrovgrad, Subotica south and at the former toll station Bubanj Potok near Belgrade will be installed in early July.It is the latest generation of electrical chargers that have installed device for free internet use. On these chargers, it is possible to charge three cars at the same time, it was stated. The minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic said that Corridor 10 is the most important road in Serbia and that goal is that this summer more drivers go through Serbia.- Not only Corridor 10 is the best and shortest connection of East and Western Europe but we also want to introduce free Internet and charger for electric cars section through Serbia is the most modern part of Corridor 10 - Mihajlovic said.
