New Skype arriving

Microsoft has announced the new generation of the Skype app, whose new features will initially be made available to users on mobile platforms – Android, then iPhone, following which they will arrive to desktop systems as well.

This is not merely an update of the current Skype, but a whole new experience, both for the developers and the end users.

A whole new user interface has been designed, aiming to enhance sharing content, chatting and creating content together, with special focus placed of the option of personalizing the content. There's also the integrated camera, available at one swipe across the screen, enabling users to capture and share inspirational moments from everyday life more easily. Photographs can be personalized with stickers, filters and notes.
