Air Serbia to suspend flights to Abu Dhabi from October 29 – Local airline to strengthen short flight network

Air Serbia has announced that it will strengthen its network of short flights in the coming months and that it will suspend flights to Abu Dhabi beginning with October 29.

After a look into the five-year business plan, the local airline will strengthen the network of short flights through the implementation of select measures, the press release says.

They also announce that they will equip their narrow-body Airbus A319 and A320 planes with narrow seats in order to increase the capacities and space utilization, focusing on flights to European markets.

The suspension of the medium length flight between Belgrade and Abu Dhabi will enable Air Serbia to use A319, currently used on the route, on shorter routes, thereby optimizing its revenues.
