"Optika" sold to two-member consortium led by Veterinarian Institute Zemun

- Belgrade-based company "Optika" was sold on June 5 to two-member consortium led by Veterinarian Institute from Zemun for 7.6m EUR - Privatization Agency announced.

The contract on sale of 59.86% of assets of the company was signed by Privatization Agency and the Share Fund and that contract anticipates investment program worth 898,500 EUR.

The second company in the consortium is company "Beta ITH PBB" from Belgrade.

Tender for sale of 59.9% of stocks of the company for design and trade in optical goods "Optika" was announced on September 28, 2007.


Total of 50% of stocks owned by the Share Fund and 10% of stocks owned by the Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance were offered for sale, which makes total of 34,073 stocks of "Optika".
