Novi Sad-based company "Big Trade" announced intention to take over "Agrobegeč"



The Novi Sad company for production and trade "Big Trade" has announced today (June 4, 2008) that it intends to take over remaining 69.96% of stocks of Agricultural company "Agrobegeč" from Begeč.
According to daily newspaper Politika, the company plans to take over 12,182 stocks and the offer will be announced after it is approved by the Securities Commission.
"Big Trade" is the owner of 30.04% of "Agrobegeča" and it owns 5,231 stocks.
It is stated on the web site of the Belgrade Stock Exchange that "Agrobegeč" deals with growing wheat and other crops, that it owns 345 ha of land, 185 ha of which is the state-owned land, as well as facilities at 2,425 square meters.
In 2003, that company had incomes worth 23m RSD and expenses amounting to 34.9m RSD.
