- Slovenian company "Droga Kolinska" plans to increase the sales of drinks on the market of Serbia in 2008 by about 30% - said the Executive Manager for the Drinks Sector in Droga Kolinska, Andrej Bele.

- Serbia is one of the most important markets for "Droga Kolinska" - said Bele.

He said that "Droga Kolinska" had sold between 32 and 35m liters of drinks in Serbia in 2008, and that the best selling products had been "cockta" and water "Palanački Kiseljak".

"Droga Kolinska" owns "Palanački Kiseljak" from Smederevska Palanka and "Štark" and "Grand prom" from Belgrade.

- Our plan is to prepare the market of Serbia gradually for mineral water 'donat mg’, which is treated as medical product in some countries - said Bele.

He explained that, because of the medicinal characteristic of that water, it was not possible to expand the market before the consumers were well-informed on that product.

This year "Droga Kolinska" celebrates the 100th anniversary of production of "donat mg". About 20m liters of that water is sold in 19 countries every year, and the largest markets are Slovenia, Croatia and France, as well as Russia where the sales have been increased 15 times in the past 5 years.

In Serbia, "donat mg" can be found only in small quantities and only in some big market chains.
