Serbian products in largest Moscow's market chain "Seventh Continent"?

Representatives of more than 20 companies for production of groceries and drinks from Serbia have presented their capacities for appearance on Russian market to the management of the largest Moscow’s market chain "The Seventh Continent".


Representatives of Serbian companies, who arrived in Moscow last night led by the assistant to the Minister of Agriculture of Serbia, Ljubiša Dimitrijević and the Head of International Economic Relations in the Ministry of Trade, Radomir Bubanja, talked with the Finance Manager of "Seventh Continent", Aleksandar Rusnjak, and Manager for Turnover of Goods, Vladimir Samarov, at the presentation.

The Ambassador of Serbia to Russia, Stanimir Vukićević, said at the meeting that Serbia was ready to return to Russian market, which still remembers quality of goods from our territory.

Emphasizing the importance of such contacts, Vukicevic said that they additionally confirmed high level of relations between the two countries.

According to the Manager of Commercial-Technical Bureau and the branch office of Chamber of Commerce of Serbia in Moscow, Sasa Gmijovic, Russian collocutors expressed the wish to cooperation with Serbian companies and they said that they were very satisfied with the presented offer.

- We expect that the negotiations will be concretized very soon and that the results will be visible, and we expect first deliveries by the end of the year - said Gmijović.

Participants in the talks were representatives of companies "Yuhor-export" from Jagodina, "Neoplanta" from Novi Sad, "Bambi" from Požarevac, PIK Južni Banat from Bela Crkva, PIK Bečej, companies "Prima produkt" from Subotica and "Agrokom" from Donji Tavankut.

Also, the product portfolios were presented by companies "Rubin" from Kruševac and "Vino Župa" from Aleksandrovac, company "IM Zlatibor" from Čajetina, "Vujić voda" from Valjevo, "Vitamin" from Horgoš, "Aleva" from Novi Kneževac and "NIS" Jazak voda from Novi Sad.


Penetration on the Moscow market is also the desire of "Centroproizvod", "Beohemija" and "Foodland" from Belgrade, as well as "Žitko" from Bačka Topola, "Kondiva" from Bujanovac, "Big Bull" from Bačinci, "Carnex" from Vrbas and "Greni export" from Gornja Trnava.

"The Seventh Continent" has 137 large stores - hypermarkets, supermarkets and facilities of lux category, more than 110 of which in Moscow.

In the largest market chain in Moscow and one of the largest in Russia, current share in total number of products of foreign manufacturers is 0.2%. What can be found on the shelves of this market chain are "Metalac" dishes, products of "Vino Župa" and Voda-Voda.

Serbian business will organize presentation tomorrow in Moscow-based megamarket "Metro".
