The Dutch airline Transavia established direct flights between Belgrade and Amsterdam on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. The flights will be available three times a week, the Nikola Tesla Airport reported.

Transavia Spokesperson Anita Sunter stated that it was their pleasure to be able to offer attractive prices to passengers and added that the company believed in the route and that it wanted to keep it and strengthen it.

Miodrag Mirkovic, Commercial and Marketing Director at the Nikola Tesla Airport, welcomed Transavia.

– We have the same goal, to have as many people as possible using the new air line to Amsterdam or coming from this multimillion city to Belgrade, which truly has something to offer to tourists and business people – he said.

The cheapest tickets from Belgrade to Amsterdam cost EUR 39 (in one direction, including booking and fees, depending on seat availability).

Transavia is a member of Air France-KLM group and has been providing regular and charter flights for 50 years. It currently flies to more than 110 destinations, mostly in Europe and North Africa.

The airline is present at seven airports in Europe: Amsterdam, Rotterdam / The Hague, Eindhoven, Paris, Nantes, Lyon and Munich.
