Hainan Airlines agrees on flights between Serbia and China – Confirmation of agreement with Serbian Government to follow soon

The Chinese Hainan Airlines confirmed that it planned to establish flights between Beijing and Belgrade, following the parent company HNA Group's last week's signing of a letter of intent with the Government of Serbia on the establishment of the route and the founding a flight training center and the presentation of plans for investing in and managing the Nikola Tesla Airport, ExYU Aviation News reports.

The airline has prepared a feasibility study on flights between China and Serbia, and the the details of the agreement should be disclosed late this week, when President Tomislav Nikolic is to make a two-day state visit to China.


HNA Group is one of the largest companies in China and has a fleet of over 1,250 planes flying to 1,100 local and international destinations and serving 92 million passengers a year through the companies it owns stock in – Hainan Airlines, Tianjin Airlines, Beijing Capital Airlines, Deer Jet, Lucky Air, West Air, Fuzhou Airlines, Urumqi Air, Beibu Gulf Airlines, Yangtze River Airlines, Guilin Airlines, Chang’an Airlines, Africa World Airlines and Aigle Azur.
