Austrian Strabag becomes new owner of Preduzece za puteve Beograd

Austrian company Strabag bought at RSD 520 m Preduzece za puteve Beograd, which were taken from businessman Milo Djuraskovic listed among companies undergoing restructuring, Novosti reports.

Ten interested entities applied at the public invitation of the Agency for licensing of bankruptcy administrators but only three companies paid a deposit - in addition to Strabag, PZP Pozarevac and Copernicus have stepped into the race for Belgrade road workers.

Despite three interested buyers, Preduzece za puteve Beograd has not inctrease a lot I n prices but Austrians bought the company for RSD 520 m, or 14 m more than the initial price, according to Novosti.



Strabag, already owns a few Serbian road companies , - Vojvodinaput iz Pančeva, Puteve Čačak i PZP Zaječar.

This is one of the leading companies for roads construction in Central and Eastern Europe.
