Excellent appearance of 16 Serbian companies at famous New York Delicatessen fair Fancy food show

In period from July 10 to July 12, sixteen Serbian companies had very successful appearance at the Fair Fancy food show that represents one of the most respectable exhibits of delicatessen food in the world. In the special pavilion "The Best from Serbia" there were Serbian fruit, jams, juices, confectioneries, organic and other products. Almost all companies returned from New York with contracts that will enable them to enter American market. That was the first opportunity for most of them to appear on the demanding and huge American market.

Participation of our companies in the fair was organized by the Serbian Entrepreneurship Development Project (SEDP), which is financed by American Agency for International Development (USAID).
In the scope of Project SEDP, they got financial means for new lables and packages and consulting services of leading package designing companies from Marryland.

The following companies appeared at the Fancy food show: Atle, Čokolada, Desing, Donimpeks, Fresh and co, Fudeks, Fudlend, IGDA, Malina produkt, Marni, ML, Resava Komerc, Areks Marzipan, Soko Štark, Suncokret and Radoslovi.

The representative of Belgrade-based company Malina produkt, Petar Radosavljević, points out that repealing of taxes on raspberry and blackberry created excellent preconditions for appearance on American market. This company started serious negotiations with five companies from USA about making of business contracts. This week, Resava Komerc from Svilajnac will sign the contract worth €75,000 with certain company from Macedonia and another contract in September.
