“Railways of Serbia” will get 15 new freight wagons on May, 09th – by the end of the year 770 more wagons worth 75 mil EUR

“Railways of Serbia” announced today (May, 09th, 2008), that they will receive 15 new freight wagons from Romania, and that it was planned a total of 770 wagons to be delivered by the end of the year, worth 57 mil EUR.

The wagons were bought from a Romanian company, IRS, with the credit of the European Bank for Renovation and Development. In the announcement, “Railways of Serbia” mentioned that today there would be presented new modernized passenger wagon, with second-class seats and a bar, which was reconstructed by “Gosa” factory from Smederevska Palanka.

Another news is possibility of making reservations and buying the tickets on the internet, for the trips to Montenegro, with possibilities of making the payment with “Visa” or “MasterCard”.
