Works on construction of Nis – Leskovac power line begun – investment worth 13,5 mil EUR
On May, 7th, 2008, works have begun on construction of a power line Nis-Leskovac, which will connect the power system of Serbia with Macedonian and Greek.
The power line has 400 kilo volts, and it is worth 13,5 mil EUR. Total investment exceeds 30 mil EUR, and European Agency for Reconstruction and Development has provided a donation of 20 mil EUR.
The contractors are “Energomontaza”, “Energoprojekt” and “ABS Holding”. The opening of works was organized in the presence of Europen Agency representative, Ian Brown, General Director of “Elektromreze Srbije”, Milos Milankovic, as well as representatives of the Ministry of mining and energetic and local management.
