Serbian arms industry contracts jobs worth USD 21 million at Abu Dhabi's IDEX – Three new projects receive preliminary approval
Acting assistant to the minister of defense for material resources, Nenad Miloradovic, says that the contracts are worth USD 21 million and that they pertain to artillery rockets, as well as that negotiations about signing new contracts on the delivery of the products of the defense industry of Serbia worth around USD 100 million have started.
– We have received a shipment order for the 155 mm NORA howitzer for the purpose of testing in desert conditions and we have also started negotiations about the transfer of the Trayal technology for the production of pyrotechnical elements and non-lethal weapons – Miloradovic said.
Furthermore, as he says, in addition to the current joint development projects, three new projects have received preliminary approval.
Jugoimport SDPR, Sloboda, Prva Petoletka, Zastava Oruzje, Krusik and Borbeni Slozeni Sistemi presented their production capacities at the Abu Dhabi exhibit.
