Some of the most famous hospitality facilities in Vrnjacka Banja have been put up for sale.

The facilities in question are those of HTP Fontana in bankruptcy, being sold as separate lots. As stated in the ad of the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency, the following lots have been offered: Zvezda 1 hotel, Zvezda 2 hotel, cafe Svajcarija with a side building, and the Ekonomat facility in Kneza Milosa Street in Vrnjacka Banja (with a side building) is offered as a separate whole. Furthermore, Beli Izvor hotel, located at the Goc mountain (Badnjevac), along with the Beli Izvor annex and a side building, is offered as a separate whole.

The property is being sold through public bidding, to be held on March 7, 2017, at the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency, at 23 Terazije Street, Belgrade.

The most valuable of the offered facilities is Zvezda 1, whose starting price is RSD 179,256,046.

Certain Belgrade media reported earlier that there was concern in Vrnjacka Banja that the individual sale of HTP Fontana facilities might mean that investors would pass them over and that the development of congress tourism might be brought into question.
