Czech company EP Holding interested in investing in Serbia – Potential investments in energy infrastructure and cogenerative facilities

Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic talked to representatives of the Czech EP Holding about investments in Serbia, above all in the field of energy, on Friday, February 3, the ministry reported.

EPH, whose delegation was headed by the president of the Board of Directors, Daniel Kretinsky, is interested in investing in energy infrastructure and cogenerative facilities combining the production of heat and electricity.


The company in question is the leading European energy holding, operating in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Italy, UK and Hungary.

In 2015, the company’s value was estimated at EUR 11.3 billion, and EPH’s operating income amounted to EUR 4.5 billion, the report says.
