Vladimir Vava new Carlsberg Serbia CEO
Vladimir assumed the new function on February 1, after having been the sales vice president in Baltika Breweries, a Russian company owned by the Carlsberg Group, for three years. Before he made the decision to continue his career within Carlsberg, Vava had been the sales and operations vice president for Spain and Portugal at Makro Cash&Carry, the Metro Group's store chain.

He continued building his career in Metro Cash&Carry Romania, following which he took over the leading position in the company's sales sector in Russia. Vladimir has been acquiring knowledge and skills for more than ten years in various leading positions in sales sectors throughout Europe.
Vava was born in 1968 in Romania. He graduated from the University of Polytechnics in Timisoara, department of hydromechanics, and he later acquired a MBA degree at the University of Sheffield. He is married with two children.
