Following the Government of Serbia's recent adoption of the decree defining the port area in the international port in Sremski Karlovci, it was decided by the new act that the port in the city should be a special-purpose port for petroleum and petroleum products reloading.

The newly adopted decree defines the port area in the special-purpose port in Sremski Karlovci for petroleum and petroleum products reloading, in line with Serbia's Water Transport Development Strategy for the 2015-2025 period.

The special-purpose port area will have 0.4 ha and 57 m2 of surface. In line with the document, the port area will be registered at the real estate land register, and the Port Governance Agency will file the necessary documentation to the residence in charge, which is to perform the annotation.
