"Uno Martin" to invest 4m EUR in production
- We used to sew that equipment because we were importing the components. Now these protection materials will be produced in our factory and we will have our own ready-made products - said he to the press during the presentation of the protective materials.
Martinović pointed out that Šabac-based factory already had buyers for anti-ballistic equipment, although it had not started production yet.
New factory for production of materials for ballistic protection will start production on July 1st, and it will have 50 workers.
As it was explained at the promotion of new products, carbon fabric that used for production of bullet-proof vests can stop the bullet of "magnum 357", and the same material is used in aircraft industry, as well as for production of windmill propellers.
Last year, company "Uno Martin" exported protective equpment worth 6m EUR.
The equipment made by this company is used by the Police forces of Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
