Jeanci to come to prepared ground – Leskovac rearranging Sintetika for 300 new workers to move in

It will cost the people of Leskovac more than RSD 160 million to rearrange the building of the former Sintetika, where the new facility of the company Jeanci, with 300 new workers, will move in by 2018, as planned.

The first phase entails preparatory works, demolition works, rough construction and roof repair works, and the contractor is Investogradnja from Leskovac.

– We are aware that it’s better for us to give the factories and the land, which have been deteriorating for years, to investors, in order for them to be able to expand the production and create new jobs. I believe that these works will be completed successfully and that we will have a new facility here next year, where at least 300 of our fellow citizens will get a chance to be employed – said Goran Cvetanovic, Mayor of Leskovac.

The preparation of ferro-concrete floors is planned in the second phase of the reconstruction, and the third phase entails installation and finishing works.

– In general, this is our biggest investment in 2016, important primarily because of the fact that this is the first time that we’re building a commercial facility, whose total value, according to the estimate, will amount to RSD 160 million. This year, we will open a tender for the fourth phase so that the facility would get an exploitation permit – concluded the director of the Directorate for Urban Planning and Construction of Leskovac, Milenko Milenkovic.
