Government opens public invitation for professional management of RTB Bor – Bid submission until April 28, 2017
As stated in the public invitation, those interested can submit their bids by April 28, 2017, at 4 pm.
The task of the professional management will be to increase profitability, secure new markets and new work organization, as well as a plan of operations with a Pre-Packaged Reorganization Plan.
All bids must contain an initial indicative plan of operations. Among other things, it entails: a development strategy for RTB Bor, a plan for development of mining and metallurgy, a production plan, a plan for reducing operating expenses, a product sale strategy with projected prices for key products of RTB, a procurement strategy. Furthermore, it entails the projected level of employees, as well the implementation of measures defined in the PPRP (in cooperation with the RTB management and the competent ministries).
The level of detail and quality of the draft of operations is an important selection criterion in the public invitation.
A potential provider of services needs to submit detailed CVs and references of individuals to be hired and who will be constantly present in professional management and counseling activities in managing RTB. Furthermore, CVs with references need to be submitted for at least 10 persons who will work as managers in the following sectors: production and maintenance (at least 4), procurement (at least 2), sales (at least 2) and finance, accounting and taxation (at least 2).
As well, candidates need to propose the fixed and variable pay amounts. The fixed pay needs to be expressed in euros or dollars, on a monthly level, without VAT. Although the amount of the compensation is an important criterion, it won't be the only one, but will be considered in the light of the amount of detail and quality of the operating plan, as well as relevant knowledge and experience in mining and metallurgy.
Professional directors will be appointed in all parts of the Bor giant (RTB Bor Group, Rudnici Bakra Bor, Rudnici Bakra Majdanpek, Topionica i Rafinacija Bakra Bor).
Interested candidates are also required to pay EUR 15,000 to take part in the public invitation.
General Manager of RTB Bor, Blagoje Spaskovski said on Tuesday that the invitation to tender was the final obligation RTB Bor had according to the PPRP.
Minister of Economy Goran Knezevic recently stated that the state expected a strategic partner for RTB Bor and that it was being discussed with numerous potential investors.
