Banca Intesa carried out 50m EUR worth of additional capitalization in Serbia – capital increased to 407m EUR

Banca Intesa, a member of Intesa Sanpaolo group, has carried 50m EUR worth of additional capitalization in Serbia and increased its capital to 407m EUR.

Additional capitalization has been carried out in order to make capital base stronger and to enable resuming of development and improvement of operations with companies, local self-government and population.

- The fact that Intesa Sanpaolo provided funds for the second additional capitalization since the beginning of its operations in Serbia shows that our mother bank firmly believes in development prospects of this market – said the deputy president of the Executive Board of Banca Intesa in Serbia, Silvio Pedrazzi.
